Colin Munro has finally rediscovered his mojo and is back to his belligerent best, smashing two successive fifties in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). After a period of struggle in the first few games of the tournament, Islamabad are now driving on the success of Munro.
Once again taking charge of the proceedings in the Powerplay, Munro hammered the Peshawar Zalmi bowling attack in the rain-curtailed encounter to make 52 off 35 balls as his innings ravishing knock was laced with four boundaries and two sixes.
The talented southpaw’s explosive strokeplay helped United climb towards an imposing total in their 20 overs. Despite Munro’s immaculate batting, United were rendered unlucky when Zalmi managed to win the match on the D/L method.
