One of the most pleasing sights of this year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the batting heroics of the all-rounder Shadab Khan. While he is yet to reacquire his bowling mojo, the rising cricketer is making everyone aware about his hidden batting talent. This is evident from him scoring 3 half-centuries in PSL 2020. Not only that, his captaincy has been really aggressive.
Reviewing all that, Islamabad’s key player Colin Ingram revealed that he is in awe of Shadab. The belligerent striker went on to call him a ‘3-in-1’ cricketer while landing accolades on him. Ingram believes that Shadab is emerging as a fantastic leader as he gets the guys around him.
He particularly highlighted the instance of pacer Akif Javed dropping an easy catch when Shadab went to him and gave him the needed confidence. Ingram understands that Islamabad is not in an ideal position, but sits confident to see his unit making it big in the 20-over competition.
