After winning 3 of their first 4 contests, Quetta Gladiators were cruising towards the play-offs of the competition. However, things changed dramatically as the defending champions lost their next 4 games to get installed in a dangerous position. Important to note, two of these 4 defeats came against Lahore Qalandars.
As a result, Quetta has 6 points from 8 games with matches left against Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings. Things clearly seem tough for the purple force, but paceman Sohail Khan is unfazed as he is confident about Quetta qualifying for the play-offs of the competition.
The 36-year old understands that things didn’t go their way in the last few games, but feels that Quetta has what it takes to come out of tumultuous times. He also expressed his full support to skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed who made questionable decisions in all these losses. It remains to be seen how Quetta comes back as they will roll back into action on March 11 against Multan.
