Ben Dunk, the Australian wicket-keeper batsman, is currently making headlines in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). After demolishing Quetta Gladiators, the aggressive player went one step ahead to produce a gem of a knock against the arch-rivals Karachi Kings.
In the 20-over tournament, the elegant lefty has mustered 250 runs at a strike-rate in excess of 200. Doing so, he smashed a total of 23 sixes which made him the batter with the most sixes in PSL 2020. Chewing a gum and hammering the bowlers has been a constant feature of his batting in the 6-team event.
Therefore, it was only natural to see a getting question raised on such thing. Addressing it in the press conference after the contest, the 32-year old cricketer revealed that there’s nothing special in his bubble gum. He added that chewing it keeps his nerves calm and composed. In fact, he admitted that this is not a habit he is proud of. However, he was glad that it keeps working for him.
