Karachi Kings’ quality was recently subdued by Lahore Qalandars’ passion as an electrifying crowd at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium of Lahore was dished with one of the best ever Pakistan Super League (PSL) games. Despite having a far better unit as compared to Lahore, Karachi was hammered which attracted a lot of criticism.
Particularly, the press conference attended by head coach Dean Jones had some tough questions. Responding to them and decoding the loss, he said that it was a game Karachi needed to have. The former Australian cricketer highlighted the dropped chances of the wicket-keeper batsman Ben Dunk as he believes that a team would always pay after such misses. Furthermore, he didn’t shy away from crediting Lahore Qalandars for producing an elite outing to down their arch-rivals.
Having claimed 7 points from 7 games, the blue team will have to put their best game forward in the remaining fixtures. Karachi will also have a rematch against the same opposition on March 12 in the National Stadium.
