Without a shadow of doubt, the crowd of Rawalpindi has taken the limelight in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). A true batting surface coupled with short boundaries provided fans a plethora of entertainment and they kept responding brilliantly to all the games.
Importantly, they cheered for all the units and turned out in large numbers despite Islamabad United failing to record a single home win. Therefore, it swelled the charm of the 20-over tournament by setting it on fire.
Reviewing all this, renowned commentator Alan Wilkins shared his feelings on his official Twitter handle. The 66-year old, who joined this year’s PSL a bit late, didn’t shy away from admitting that he had a great time in Rawalpindi as the vibe in the ground was fantabulous.
For this, he extended his gratitude to the people of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Moreover, he sits confident to see Karachi giving a similar response to the next few games as the action would now shift to the biggest city of Pakistan.
