Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan outplayed Lahore Qalandars in the 26th match of HBL Pakistan Super League edition 5. Both openers chased the target of 151 without losing their wickets and making it the 4th highest partnership in the history of PSL.
While Sharjeel wacked the bowlers all over the park, Babar displayed his class with some exquisite stroke-making. The right-handed batsman scored an unbeaten 69 of just off just 46 balls with 8 boundaries and one six to his name.
This is the 3rd fifty plus score of Babar Azam in this year’s HBL PSL making him the highest scorer of the tournament so far. Babar’s great form is a good sign for Pakistan ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020.
