Once on course to qualify for the play-offs of the fifth season of the highly valued Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta currently sits in a dangerous position. With 3 wins from 9 games, the defending champions are currently reeling at the bottom of the table.
One of the major reasons of their downfall is the batting performance of the star all-rounder Shane Watson who accumulated only 181 runs in 8 innings of PSL 2020, averaging a shade under 23. The hard-hitting batsman himself shared disappointment about his contribution as he eyes a magical show in the upcoming fixture against Karachi Kings.
“We started well in PSL 2020, but lost the winning momentum. However, we are still in the competition. I had a good season last year, but failing to continue my good run disappointed me. However, I will try to give my best shot to take us to the play-offs of the PSL 5,” said by the veteran of 59 Tests, 190 ODIs and 58 T20Is.
