Pakistan Super League (PSL) table-toppers Multan Sultans benefitted from a monstrous display of pristine striking from Khushdil Shah in their clash against Lahore Qalandars. Although Multan failed to win the encounter, Khushdil captured the limelight with his breathtaking strokeplay.
Sultans had stuttered to 91/5 in 13 overs in their innings before Khushdil broke free from the shackles to punish the Qalandars’ bowling attack. The talented southpaw blasted tremendous hits, that travelled beyond the boundary fence with ease.
He bludgeoned six stunning maximums in his unbeaten knock of 70 from 29 deliveries. Khushdil’s scorching efforts lifted Sultans to a commanding total of 186/6 in 20 overs. His pyrotechnics with the bat could seal his spot in the side for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
