The trend of the foreign cricketers pulling out of the fifth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has continued for another day. This time, Lahore Qalandars was on the receiving end as their star batsman Chris Lynn has decided to go home after smashing a delightful century against Multan Sultans to take Lahore to the semis of PSL 2020.
Announcing his return to Australia on his Instagram account, the 29-year old cricketer revealed that he loved the experience of playing in Pakistan’s biggest T20 festival and regretted to leave the 20-over competition in the ongoing circumstances. However, he added that there’s more to life than cricket and desperate times make you take important calls.
In addition to this, Lynn said that he has full faith in Lahore Qalandars to go all the way and bag their first ever PSL title. Apart from him, David Wiese and Seekkuge Prasanna have also left for their countries, leaving their side depleted ahead of the semi-final clash against arch-rivals Karachi Kings.
