Pakistan’s former batsman Javed Miandad lashes out on Ahmed Shehzad after he launched a statement in which he mentioned a duration for which he can play for Pakistan. The right-handed batsman, while playing for Quetta Gladiators in this HBL PSL, said that he still has the ability to play for next 12 years.
Miandad banished Shehzad and advised him to refrain from these statements without performances. Shehzad had a very off-colour PSL as he failed to score even a single notable figure for Quetta Gladiators. Miandad also highlighted the inconsistency of Pakistani batsmen.
He said that not even a single Pakistani batsman has a capability to compete with the batsmen of the good teams like India, Australia, New Zealand, and India. “If you [Ahmed Shehzad] will perform, you can even play for 20 years and I guarantee that but performing is the first step”, Miandad quoted.
