The forthcoming Bangladesh tour of Pakistan for a one-off ODI and a Test match in Karachi has been postponed indefinitely through the mutual consent of both cricketing boards. The decision has been made taking into consideration the ongoing health crisis triggered by the COVID-19.
Bangladesh had earlier toured Pakistan for three T20Is and a Test match in Rawalpindi. Pakistan triumphed in the opening Test of the two-game series, part of the World Test Championship but the second game has now been deferred to an unspecified date.
Additionally, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also called off the domestic Pakistan Cup. These developments follow the sharp rise in the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan.
