After PCB postponed the HBL PSL V, the news broke out that one of the players was suspected for the Coronavirus which forced the authorities to take immediate action. Following this, Pakistan’s commentator Ramiz Raja revealed that it was Alex Hales who was suffering from the symptoms of COVID-19.
As the news spread across the cricket world, England’s batsman Alex Hales took to Twitter and neglected the false news regarding his health. According to him, the right-handed batsman developed slight fever on arriving in UK and opted for self-isolation on the advice of the government.
Hales has not been tested yet, however, he clarified that he is currently in stable health condition. Hales’ suspected signs of the virus forced PCB to call off the tournament considering the health of the other players as well. PCB will conduct the COVID-19 tests of the players and the staff.
