Pakistan Cricket Boards (PCB) Chief Executive Officer Wasim Khan confirmed that all the 128 tests of COVID-19 of the players, staff, broadcasters, and other people of the management are negative. Remember, PSL was postponed with immediate effect when the news broke out that one of the foreign players had suspected symptoms of the Coronavirus.
Just to nullify the panic created, PCB decided to conduct the COVID-19 tests and fortunately no one belonging to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was tested positive. Stating the matter, PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said: “It was absolutely critical for the integrity and credibility of PSL and the PCB that everyone was tested [for coronavirus]."
After the confirmation arrived, the foreign and International players were allowed to rejoin with their families amidst the global health emergency. PCB has not announced their official decision regarding when will be the remaining matches of PSL are going to take place.
