With the world getting hit by the deadly Corona Virus, many activities including cricket was disturbed. As a result, cricket series and tournaments across the globe got suspended or postponed. Similarly, Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 had to be postponed after the tournament entered into its knock-out stages.
The rescheduling of the 20-over competition is attracting a lot of debate and recently the owner of Karachi Kings, Salman Iqbal became a part of this discussion. He believes that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying their best and it is likely to see them finding a window immediately after the conclusion of this year’s T20 World Cup, which is scheduled in Australia.
It is important to note that Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Peshawar were the four teams qualifying for the final-four stage of the competition as the play-offs were replaced by semi-finals. As per the points table, Karachi is meant to lock horns with Lahore while Peshawar will face Multan in the knock-outs of the competition.
