Haider Ali, the rising batting sensation of Pakistan, is one of the most attractive players of the currently halted edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The right-hander showed class and hitting prowess with an aggressive flair. As a result, he mustered 239 runs in 9 innings, managing a decent average of 29.87. Moreover, a strike rate close to 160 highlighted his fearless approach.
After impressing many, Haider was able to fetch a lot of admiration from the former Pakistan cricketer Ramiz Raja. The cricketer turned commentator feels that Pakistan has unleashed a glorious batting talent in shape of Haider. However, he urged the 19-year old cricketer to follow the likes of Virat Kohli and Babar Azam to value his wicket as Haider threw away few starts in the PSL 2020.
“Haider should look towards Babar Azam and Virat Kohli. These two stars don’t improvise much and usually rely on playing conventional shots. Haider possesses similar talent, but he needs to work on his game awareness to play longer innings,” said by the 57-year old.
