Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is mulling over roping in left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak as the third member of the national selection panel. Razzak is an active first-class player who was just last week engaged in a stint with Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Dhaka Premier League.
The veteran cricketer last donned the national jersey in 2018 during a Test match against Sri Lanka, having represented Bangladesh in 200 games across all formats. The 37-year-old has confirmed he has gotten the offer from BCB but he is putting in some thought before making the final decision.
''Yes they have contacted me but I wanted some time to decide. I have told them that I will let them know after the Dhaka Premier League matches. Now as the league is postponed, I can think about this now,” Razzak said.
