Haider Ali, the new sensation arising from the Pakistan Super League edition 5, has opened up about his comparison with Babar Azam and Virat Kohli. The right-handed batsman was a pure delight to watch during the PSL days. Young Haider Ali says that although he draws inspirations from his favorite batsmen but one cannot become exactly the same.
"A batsman can never become like his role models, but can improve himself and develop shots like they play. I want to improve myself to the extent that people call me Babar Azam and not Kohli because Babar has good shots.’’ Haider Ali said.
Haider is certainly more impressed from Babar Azam as compared to Virat Kohli. He scored 239 runs in 9 games he played for Peshawar Zalmi in this edition of HBL PSL. The 19-year old impressed the critics with his exceptional stroke-play during the T20 fest.
