The fifth edition of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL) dished out a plethora of entertainment before being halted because of the spread of Coronavirus. After a lot of action, Lahore, Karachi, Multan and Peshawar qualified for the knock-out stage of the competition.
Recently, owner of Multan, Ali Tareen reflected on the tournament and expressed his wish to see Multan playing Lahore in the final. This was not the first time Ali shared his love for Qalandars as he earlier backed them for the play-offs qualification after Multan registered a berth in the final-four spots of the 20-over tournament.
Moreover, the renowned businessman and politician revealed that he loves watching the young talent performing in PSL. Highlighting the names of Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Umer Khan, Ali said that the real mission behind PSL is to unleash talents like them. With PSL’s knock-outs likely to be played in November, it remains to be seen who gets crowned as the champions of the 6-team event.
