While there is a lot of talk about a tough competition between wicket-keepers Wriddhiman Saha and Rishabh Pant, the former has rejected the notion. Saha revealed that he and Pant train together and being a senior, he keeps advising Pant on different aspects of the game.
The Test specialist, who didn’t play the Tests against New Zealand, believes that it eventually melts down to the need of the team, which, in his opinion, is acceptable to both the cricketers. Saha further supported Pant by stating that the aggressive cricketer always tries to give his best for the men in blue.
“Pant gives his all on a cricket field and I’ve discussed a few things with him which he could apply as per his comfort zone. Look, we all play for India. It is about the best combination for the national team and we all respect that,” the veteran of 37 Tests and 9 ODIs said while reflecting on competition with young Rishabh Pant.
