It would not be wrong to say that the whole of humanity is going through a grave danger. According to an estimate, more than 192 countries are affected by the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus which is responsible for taking lives of approximately 17,000 people.
The situation isn’t promising in Pakistan as recent government estimates confirmed a close to 1000 cases in the country. For this reason, provinces went on partial and full lockdowns which is creating life even hard for the marginalized section of the society.
However, it is a welcoming sign to see cricketers coming forward to lend a helping hand. Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has recently announced to donate his YouTube earnings to the victims to COVID-19.
He added that he will continue to do so unless Pakistan gets cleaned of this lethal disease. Not only that, he urged other members of the cricketing community to do all they can for the people of Pakistan. Moreover, he expressed his best wishes to all the people suffering in these troubling times.
