Drawing comparisons between two cricketers isn’t a new phenomenon of the cricketing world. Be it batting, bowling or fielding, the athletes are usually analyzed critically by the cricket pundits. Same is the case with all-rounders Ben Stokes and Hardik Pandya as both cricketers contain exceptional capabilities.
Recently, former Australian spinner Brad Hogg became a part of this debate by picking Stokes ahead of Pandya. Explaining the pick, the veteran of 145 International games feels that the talismanic cricketer has the needed International exposure to be his preferred choice. Moreover, he highlighted the many exploits of the 28-year old cricketer in a career encompassing less than 200 International games.
“I have to go with the Englishman on this one. Hardik has potential but he hasn’t played enough International cricket to challenge Stokes as the all-rounder for my World XI,” said by Hogg reflecting on the debate as to which all-rounder is better between Pandya and Stokes.
