Sam’s Chicken in the United Kingdom has vowed to provide the paramedics at the National Health Service (NHS) with free meals in order to raise their spirits as the coronavirus situation in the island nation turns gruesome.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the country has exponentially grown over the last few days prompting the government to impose a lockdown to curb the spread of the virus. Amidst these troubling times, England all-rounder Ravi Bopara has made an exemplary move to uplift the spirits of the medical staff in the front line during this battle with the coronavirus.
Bopara owns a couple of Sam’s Chicken branches in London and is a key investor in the company. He took to Twitter to make the announcement of giving away the free meals to the NHS personnel as his gesture was praised by online users.
