The global health crisis triggered by the coronavirus has halted sporting activities around the globe. All cricketing events and series have also been postponed to an indefinite date, taking a toll on the players.
In line with the series of cancellations, it is reported that the fitness tests of Pakistan’s centrally contracted and domestic players has been rescheduled because the National Cricket Academy is not currently functioning.
All players have thus been notified to continue their physical training at home with the help of tutoring from coaches online. The new schedule for the fitness tests, originally supposed to be held in April, will be released once the COVID-19 situation subsides.
