Australia’s former captain Steve Smith has revealed his favorite ODI innings. The right-handed batsman credited his century against India in the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 as the best ODI knock of his career. Smith scored 105 off just 93 balls when his team wanted him to step up.
That was the time when Smith started to peak as one of the best batsmen in the cricket world. "That's probably my favorite one-day innings. At home, in front of my friends and family in a World Cup semi-final against a star-studded India”, Steve Smith quoted.
Australia went on to win that match against India and sealed their berth in the final of the mega-event. Steve Smith also scored a classical half-century in the final of the tournament against New Zealand and helped his team in lifting the title.
