England’s dashing opener Alex Hales has disclosed his admiration for Shoaib Akhtar while growing up as he picked the Rawalpindi Express among his favourite cricketers during his childhood days.
Social media is currently abuzz with various sports personalities spending extra time on the digital platform owing to the coronavirus lockdown that has restricted all professional activities. Hales too is in self-isolation after he talked about COVID-19 symptoms following his return to him from his stint with Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
While mentioning his top cricketers, Hales also picked belligerent South African opener Herschelle Gibbs and Caribbean legend Brian Lara. From England, he chose Dominic Cork, Kevin Pietersen and Graham Thorpe.
