Pakistan players now given permission to play four leagues

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revised its No Objection Certificate (NOC) policy for centrally contracted players by allowing them to play up to four leagues including the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

This new policy was communicated by the board on Friday as they have expanded the amount of opportunities that local players can avail to supplement their income. Earlier, strict restrictions were in place that curbed the participation of players in overseas competitions but now they have been given ample chances to make an impact elsewhere.

“We have given primacy and importance to player workload, international and domestic commitments, but at the same time it was important that players are given the opportunities to make additional earnings and develop their skills around the world,” PCB CEO Wasim Khan said.
