All cricket action has come to a standstill, forcing players to spend extra time on social media and engage with fans or teammates online. While the trend of candid Q/A chats has become quite popular, some players have gone for Instagram live sessions as a way of virtual interactions.
In one such session, former England batting maestro Kevin Pietersen brutally trolled his ex-Quetta Gladiators teammate Ahmed Shehzad. Pietersen took a dig at Shehzad’s extensively long answers to his queries by claiming: "You're talking so much nonsense, it actually goes from one ear to other ear. You're the same in the dressing room! You ramble too much!"
Later, Pietersen shifted the topic of discussion towards Shehzad’s flop show in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five where he could only accumulate 61 runs in seven innings. When Shehzad replied that he was doing his best and practicing hard, Pietersen dismissed his reply.
A fuming Pietersen said: "I'm your buddy, so don't come with this garbage like 'I'm practicing hard, I'm trying my best but unfortunately it's not my time at the moment!”
