Despite playing only 4 years of International cricket, Indian paceman Jasprit Bumrah has emerged as one of the best bowlers of the cricketing world. With an unorthodox action, the bowler wasn’t rated highly by many during his early days. However, he wrote his own history to be counted among the likes of Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.
Recently, the fierce pacer went on to draw a parallel between him and football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 26-year old cricketer recently compared his journey with the Swedish legend as people weren’t ready to take them seriously before they roared loudly. It is important to note that Bumrah already has 231 International wickets to his name despite playing only 128 games.
“I love Ibra. I can relate to his story, that people did not take him seriously and then he became a star. I can relate as I think people took me lightly initially, and then I went on to prove them wrong. I’m still trying to do that,” said by Bumrah.
