The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided that it will not issue any NOCs to the organizers who approached the board for cricket in Ramadan. Prioritizing the health and the measures taken by the government during this pandemic, PCB has decided to take this decision that no cricket will be played in the upcoming month of Ramadan.
PCB has also announced that no cricket will take place in the country until the normalcy returns. Moreover, the board has also issued a statement in which it stated that it will continue to bear the expenses of the players in the ongoing financial year of 2019-2020.
Currently, Pakistan is locked down till 14th April and the duration can increase if the situation of COVID-19 does not improve in the country. PCB has already postponed the knock-out stages of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Test match Bangladesh was also rescheduled. Therefore, the situation is quite uncertain at the moment regarding the International Cricket in Pakistan.
