Amir praises Rawalpindi Police amidst coronavirus lockdown

The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc all across the globe, accounting for the loss of thousands of lives. Similarly, the situation in Pakistan has been rapidly deteriorating in the past week with the number of COVID-19 cases in the country increasing exponentially.

The rising number of infected patients in Pakistan has caused the government to impose a nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of the virus. Amidst this backdrop, Pakistan’s star speedster Mohammad Amir recently uploaded a video on Twitter, praising the efforts of the Rawalpindi Police in his hometown by patrolling the streets and ensuring people follow the law.

Amir lauded the City Police Officer in the area for fulfilling his duties responsibly and following the safety protocols in place. Moreover, the left-arm fast bowler appealed to the masses to cooperate with the authorities and play their part in combating the virus by staying at home.
