It is extremely hard to overemphasize the importance of Virat Kohli for the Indian team. Time and again, the batting master has proved his worth to lead India to historic victories. Apart from his batting, his presence in the Indian dressing room creates a lot of energy and allows many to put their best game forward.
Recently, former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar lauded the Indian skipper for building a fantastic team environment. The legendary figure revealed that Virat Kohli often gave up his business class seat for the top performers of the team while sitting in the economy sector. He added that this might look like a small gesture, but it goes a long way in installing a likeable environment in the dressing room.
Gavaskar who represented India in 125 Test matches and 108 ODI contests also said that Kohli has followed the footsteps of former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the wicket-keeper batsman hardly enjoyed his business class ticket and preferred to sit in the company of TV coverage, cameraman and sound engineers.
