Slater foresees Haider Ali’s entry in World Cup squad of Pakistan

Haider Ali, the rising batting sensation of Pakistan, is one of the most attractive players of the currently halted edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). With a fearless approach, the right-hander never shies away from showing his hitting prowess. As a result, he mustered 239 runs in 9 innings, managing an impressive average of 29.87.

Seeing all this impressed the former Australian cricketer Michael Slater to the core who applauded the prowess of the rising batting star of Pakistan. The 50-year old highlighted Haider’s ability to stay calm under tough situations while being aggressive – a trait he links with players destined to become future stars.

In fact, Slater feels that Haider will attract the attention of selectors to make it to the T20 World Cup squad of Pakistan. It remains to be seen how things fare for him, but the right-hander displayed a lot of class which might merit him a place in the mega-event scheduled to take place in Australia.
