Coming to the fifth edition of the highly admired Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalandars have continued their tradition of unleashing impressive pacers. After Haris Rauf, it was the turn of Dilbar Hussain to garner admiration from all with a sturdy show in the 20-over tournament. An arsenal filled with deceptive slower balls, effective bouncers and deadly yorkers saw Dilbar making a good case for himself.
With all that, he was able to receive admiration form his Lahore Qalandars teammate Fakhar Zaman. The aggressive opener revealed that the right-arm quick caused a lot of issues to many batters in the nets. Fakhar also advised him to stay calm in games to stay focused. Applauding the qualities of the emerging pacer, the 45-year old added that Dilbar has the ingredients to become a successful T20 bowler.
In the currently halted T20 gala of Pakistan, Dilbar grabbed 7 wickets in 8 games at 27. His economy of 8.10 on true batting surfaces also showed great potential. Earlier, Ramiz Raja, Waqar Younis and even Misbah-ul-Haq also showered heaps of praise on the right-arm quick by calling him a bright prospect for Pakistan.
