Tom Curran, the English all-rounder is one of the brightest prospects of the white-ball cricket. However, he has no plans to keep himself limited to the limited-overs matches as he recently expressed his wish to become a permanent part of England’s Test team. Earlier, Tom played 2 Test matches for England but failed to sustain his place in the national team.
He admitted that the focus was more on the white-ball cricket with the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 coming up. Now that it is over, Tom aims to balance his act and hone his red-ball skills to join his brother Sam Curran in playing the purest format of the game.
With all the cricketing activities remaining suspended because of the mass outbreak of COVID-19, it is hard for the 25-year old to make a case for Test selection. Nevertheless, he is confident to do well and get back to donning whites for England when things return to normalcy.
