The quality of Pakistan Super League (PSL) can be understood from the fact that despite only 5 editions of the 20-over tournament, it is counted among the likes of Indian Premier League (IPL), Big Bash League (BBL) and Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Recently, English cricketer Liam Livingstone moved forward to compare the quality of PSL with IPL. In his opinion, PSL is extremely similar to IPL as the fans, players and supporters live and breathe cricket to create a fantastic atmosphere. Moreover, the quality of cricket really impressed him.
In fact, he recalled the experience of playing in Multan where the players were welcomed with a laudable buzz. He added that there were more people than the installed capacity who were cheering all the teams.
While he loved the experience of PSL, Livingstone failed to make an impact in the currently halted season of the 6-team event. He mustered a total of only 108 runs in 8 games, averaging a shade under 22.
