Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal has said that he would love to see Shahid Afridi return to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise as part of the coaching contingent in the future. Iqbal claimed that the Karachi Kings will be interested in offering a role to Afridi in the team management once the star all-rounder formally retires from the game.
"We miss Shahid Afridi a lot in Karachi Kings. He is playing right now, but after he retires, we will offer him a role in the coaching staff at Karachi Kings," Iqbal said in a video conference.
Afridi currently represents Multan Sultans in the PSL, though he was previously associated Karachi Kings in the third edition of the competition. His PSL journey initially kicked off with Peshawar Zalmi for the first two seasons before making the move to Karachi, where he captained the team into the playoffs.
