The influx of T20 leagues in the cricket world has brought different tournaments in competition with each other. Players are thus often asked to pick one over the other as such questions figure among the more popular queries opted by fans.
Recently, former West Indies skipper Daren Sammy was part of a leading cricket website’s online show where he was compelled to choose between the rival T20 competitions, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Having had the privilege of playing both tournaments, Sammy opined that the PSL was his personal favorite. Sammy has been linked with the PSL since its inception back in 2016 and holds a special place among the Pakistani fan base. His impressive run in the PSL and his services to Pakistan cricket helped him earn the honorary citizenship of the country.
