Pakistan’s batting giant Babar Azam revealed his concerns about his gameplay. The right-handed batsman, talking to a cricket news network, disclosed how he has evolved as a person during this prolific journey. Babar Azam admitted that he used to have a negative thought process, and he is handling it well at the moment.
"Mostly I worked on my mindset (for further improvement), the way I go about my game and also when I am not playing. I used to become complacent easily if I performed well. I used to have a negative thought process and that's the area I realized I had to cover," Babar said.
The top-order batsman said that by controlling the outside factors, he is in more control of his game. Recently, Babar has been rated as one of the best batsmen in modern-day cricket. Babar Azam has been compared a lot with the likes of Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Kane Williamson. Talking about playing for the team, Babr said, "But now I have told myself that whatever I do is for the team, and that is more relevant and important. My work isn't done if I score runs”.
