In the South Africa series, Shan emerged as the highest run-getter for Pakistan by mustering 228 runs in 6 innings where he scored two gritty half-centuries. He used his good form to accumulate 140 runs against Sri Lanka, including a hundred and then smashed a century in the first Test match against Bangladesh.
Speaking of his comeback, the tall fellow believed that playing domestic cricket regularly improved his skills. Not only that, but he also highlighted the fact that scoring heaps of runs for the A team further boosted his confidence as he utilized it to make his bat spitfire in the International cricket.
