Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi reveals the name of two fast bowlers which he closely follows. The left-arm pacer named former Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram and the Australian fast bowling sensation Mitchell Starc in a live Twitter session.
Shaheen has been one of the most successful Pakistani fast bowlers in recent times. The 20-year old had a great outing during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. , “I try to learn a few good things from Wasim Akram and Mitchell Starc, and in particular want to learn Starc’s way to swing,”, Shaheen said.
Moreover, the left-arm fast bowler also expressed his disappointment while failing to dismiss Babar Azam during the 5th edition of the Pakistan Super League. “Despite dismissing many major players in the PSL I could not get Babar. He did not give me any opportunity, but it is one of my wishes to take his wicket.”. Shaheen has taken 90 wickets in 39 International matches for Pakistan so far.
