It is extremely hard to overemphasize the importance of former captain Imran Khan for Pakistan. Throughout his careers, the lion-hearted all-rounder kept on producing a plethora of sensational performances which allowed the boys in green to register countless victories. However, his most important contribution came as the skipper of the side, which, to date, is celebrated by all.
Recently, former Pakistan batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq shared his views on the captaincy of Imran. The veteran of 120 Tests, 378 ODIs and 1 T20I is of the opinion that Imran always knew how to get the best out of the players. He added that the current sitting Prime Minister of Pakistan didn’t go too much into technicalities but backed his players.
Not only that, the 50-year old, who himself led Pakistan in many games, revealed that Imran was always a fan of giving every player a long ago. For this reason, the talismanic figure was respected a lot by everyone. Needless to mention, Imran’s own performances allowed him to gain a special place in Pakistan Cricket.
