Dinesh Karthik sees a World Cup win imminent for India

Exploring the recent history of the cricketing world, it is clear that India let go of many opportunities of winning a title. The recent example is the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tournament where the blue side crashed out of the mega-event after getting defeated at the hands of New Zealand.

All that happened before India topped the table and looked on their way to register a World Cup victory under the leadership of Virat Kohli. It was a rare top-order failure of India which turned it all around for Blackcaps after posting a mediocre total on the board.

However, Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik believes that a title win is around the corner for India. The aggressive cricket, who played 26 Tests, 94 ODIs and 32 T20Is for India, highlighted the fact that his unit has been efficient in terms of reaching semi-finals. He regretted the fact that the men in blue didn’t go on to win a trophy, but showed faith in India’s ability to win a major tournament soon.
