Cricketers wish fans on start of Ramzan

The blessed month of Ramzan has commenced once again as millions of Muslims around the globe observe 29 to 30 days of fasting from sunrise to sunset. As the masses prepare themselves to welcome the advent of the holy month, several cricketing personalities came forth to wish their fan base a happy Ramzan.

The current coronavirus pandemic has dramatically altered the ways in which the Islamic holy month will be commemorated this time around. With governments emphasizing on the importance of social distancing, Indian cricketers Irfan Pathan and Mohammad Kaif also voiced the message of praying from homes and avoiding unnecessary travel outside.

Members of the Pakistan cricket fraternity extended greetings to their loyal supporters with the likes of Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali opting for unique ways to convey their wishes.
