Bangladesh’s wicket-keeper batsman Liton Das is counted among the most talented batters of the country. His start to International cricket was plagued with inconsistency. However, Das has managed to change that recently as he scored a plethora of runs to improve his numbers.
Since May 2019, the aggressive cricketer has scored 571 runs at a sparkling batting average of 81.57. Not only that, but a strike-rate of 115 also speaks volume of what he brings to the table. With such a good run, it was natural to see the 25-year old fetching admiration from the batting coach of Bangladesh who goes by the name of Neil McKenzie.
The former South African cricketer, who played 58 Tests, 64 ODIs and 2 T20Is, is of the opinion that Das possesses a lot of talent with which he likes to play his shots. He added that he looks to have found something in his game. Nevertheless, the 44-year old warned him against too many shots while urging him to value his wicket.
