The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the indefinite postponement of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Hence, with global cricket coming to a standstill, sports personalities are observed to be actively using social media to interact with fans and keep their spirits high during the virus shutdown.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise have thus organized chat shows hosted by their skipper David Warner. In one such show, Warner was at the receiving end of a savage reply from Sunrisers teammate Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The Indian medium-pacer seemed confident that he would be able to dismiss Warner for a cheap score amidst a clash at the MCG.
“If you had been bowling to me in the last over of the final of ICC T20 World Cup at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and we needed four runs off the final delivery, what would you bowl to me?” Warner had asked, to which Bhuvneshwar replied with: “I don’t think I would have bowled the last over because I will get you out in the first over.”
