When speaking about batting in the International cricket, former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar is often cited as a benchmark for all the batters. It is so because the little master has scored 34357 runs across the three formats of the game, which is the most in International cricket. Doing this, he mustered a total of 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries.
However, the World Cup-winning captain of India, Kapil Dev, is of the opinion that Sachin could have done more with the kind of talent he carried. He cleared that he isn’t undermining all the records of the batting legend and Sachin clearly surpassed the other batters. However, Kapil feels that Sachin had a lot more to offer to the Indian team.
Nevertheless, the 61-year old showered heaps of praise on Sachin for serving the country for 24 long years as he called him the finest cricketer produced by the Indian soil. Therefore, he wished him happiness and luck for his future endeavors.
