Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has offered to ready to help ex-Pakistan teammate Shoaib Akhtar and Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) legal advisor Tafazzul Rizvi reach an amicable to end their bitter conflict that has grabbed the headlines over the past few days.
Akhtar and Rizvi's aggressive war of words initiated after the former launched a verbal tirade against the PCB and its legal team, especially Rizvi, accusing them of being professionally incompetent and failing to handle cases effectively.
In response, Rizvi had filed a PKR 10 million defamation lawsuit against the Rawalpindi Express. PCB had also issued a statement condemning Akhtar's poor choice of words. Now, Afridi has said he can resolve the ongoing tussle between the two individuals.
