It is highly expected that the cricket routine will become strenuous once the fear of the virus subsides. With the impending T20 World Cup, the teams will have a difficult time managing their workload. Australia batsman Marnus Labuschagne said that he is geared up for handling the workload post the COVID-19 period.
“There is going to be a lot of tours that will need to be made up. There’s going to be a whole heap of cricket in a very short time frame. We’ll be making up for a missed time, that schedule is just going to be packed.”- Marnus said.
He further added - “It’s going to be a bit different to what we’re used to. We’re going to have to be ready coming out of this break to play heaps and heaps of cricket.”
Moreover, the players will find it hard to get back on to the training fields after a dormant period. However, Marnus is eager to make things working from him right from the word go.
