Mohammad Mahmudullah, the all-rounder of Bangladesh, is one of the most experienced cricketers of the country. Representing Bangladesh in 49 Tests, 188 ODIs and 87 T20Is, the quality cricketer has scored over 7500 International runs. Not only that, but he also went on to pick 150 wickets while proving his all-round utility.
Recently, his skills were lauded by his teammate Tamim Iqbal who called him a ‘selfless cricketer’. The aggressive opening batsman is of the opinion that Bangladesh is lucky to have a player like Mahmudullah who always placed the team’s interest ahead of his personal goals. It was all discussed during an Instagram Live session of the two aforementioned cricketers.
“I tell you many times, Riyad Bhai, in our country we only value 70-80 or a century. But you are unfortunate from time to time, I think. The innings you have of 30-35 runs may not be so appreciated, but we as teammates, we can realize how valuable your 30-35 innings are for us,” said by Tamim Iqbal.
